Ferries depart twice daily from Eminönü and run frequently from Sariyer, making the journey both scenic and comfortable.

In the heart of Anadolu Kavağı, signs point the way to the Yoros citadel, perched over a kilometer uphill from the village center. The walk takes about 20 minutes and admission to the citadel is free. However, those exploring the citadel area after dark should be mindful of large, aggressive dogs that roam the grounds at night.
