A Unique Collection

Among the many treasures in Wellington's collection, one stands out for its unusual history: a nude statue of Napoleon Bonaparte. This intriguing piece was originally commissioned by Napoleon himself. After his defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, the British government purchased the statue and presented it as a gift to the duke.
