Christ Church

In September 2004, the nave of Christ Church was fully restored, bringing new life to this impressive structure. Originally designed by Sir Nicholas Hawksmoor, the church stands out with its exceptionally tall, pointed spire. Over the years, Hawksmoor's original design underwent significant changes during the 19th century. Today, ongoing restoration efforts aim to return the church to the architect's initial vision.

A Historic Landmark

Christ Church was constructed as part of the ambitious 50 Churches for London project. This initiative aimed to address the spiritual needs of a rapidly growing population in the city.
